Details

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has received the honorable United Nations 'United Nations Public Service Medal-2021' for its contribution to public service. The medal was awarded in the category of 'Gender-Responsive Service in Achieving the SDGs' in recognition of the Ministry's Cyclone Preparedness Program (CPP) Women Empowerment initiative. The medal was handed over on 13 December 2021 at a ceremony organized by the United Nations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
